Guy Gerber, Guy J, Shlomi Aber, Itamar Sagi, Miss Fitz have established Israel as a hotbed of dance production talent in recent years. Now this fine tradition continues as Renaissance proudly introduce legendary Tel Aviv-based DJ Sahar Z, resident of Haoman 17: the biggest and most prestigious club in Israel. He now follows-up 3 past releases (one of which boasts an incredible Gui Boratto remix) with a devastating homage to the Detroit sound and Carl Craig in particular.
Alongside friends and production partners Audio Junkies, who are comprised by the brothers Daniel & Joe Rave, they have been making a name for themselves as pioneers of the Israeli dance scene and are now getting the international recognition that they undoubtedly deserve.
‘Beyond Detroit’ contains all the motor city hallmarks: house-stabs; a beautiful, haunting pad and a driving techno kick.
